The Duke of Mount Deer (DMD) – Our in-house developed 3D martial arts MMORPG

Four years in the making, Duke of Mount Deer is Changyou's second inhouse-developed martial arts game based on Louis Cha's final novel. The game features a number of technical innovations and opens up many new possibilities in gameplay that have never before been realized in MMORPGs. For example, Changyou successfully developed a seamless server connectivity feature that, for the first time in a MMORPG, allows gamers to play and compete with other users that are logged in on separate servers. Now players can explore, collect items, complete quests, set up homes and even build franchises beyond the server where they originally registered. In addition, users on several servers can form alliances against competing teams on other servers so that large communities of players can meet, network and compete with each other online. This new server technology creates one all-encompassing universe where gamers can enter parallel worlds to experience new adventures with different friends. Designed with two different game engines and the latest 3D rendering technology, the game displays beautifully rendered, cinematic quality graphics. With such highly elaborate world and fun inter-server interaction, DMD offers gamers a new and exciting universe for games to experience.
